The nose has a nice level of sanguine lift, with lifted wild herbs, baked earth, and compact black fruit. It has a lot of the same compact, nervous tension that all these wines bring forward, demanding time in the cellar with their bright acidity, grippy, angular tannins, and stony finishes.
